Fox G*love

Mr. Fox: [sighs] Who am I, Kylie?
Kylie: Who how? What now?
Mr. Fox: Why a fox? Why not a horse, or a beetle, or a bald eagle? I'm saying this more as, like, existentialism, you know? Who am I? And how can a fox ever be happy without, you'll forgive the expression, a chicken in its teeth?
Kylie: I don't know what you're talking about, but it sounds illegal.
-who ya gonna give that apple to Foxy?

Kevin: Awesome work RA! This reminds me of FOX Mulder from the X(24-42)-Files who lives in Apartment 42!

  1. now that was pretty smooth. i especially dug the ending... that movie said so much to me. from the attack on the hometree, to the three kings, to setting the pinecones on fire... even surrogate fatherhood...

the robin hood connection was very soundly presented. i like how mr. fox was a "good" thief- who stole and gave just like robin of the hood, and also like the fox's voice actor, george clooney in Ocean's 11

  4. Hey Richard, I'm loving the videos you've been doing.
-also I added the lovers card and the dialog, (sometimes I fancy the idea of adding things anonymously)

    interestingly,
a scene in Mr. Fox would connect your two videos (kinda)-
at the end, foxy brings his family through a manhole cover into the supermarket, he gives a toast, and they dance.

the toast seems like advice to me somehow:

Mr. Fox: They say all foxes are slightly allergic to linoleum, but it's cool to the paw - try it. They say my tail needs to be dry cleaned twice a month, but now it's fully detachable - see? They say our tree may never grow back, but one day, something will. Yes, these crackles are made of synthetic goose and these giblets come from artificial squab and even these apples look fake - but at least they've got stars on them. I guess my point is, we'll eat tonight, and we'll eat together. And even in this not particularly flattering light, you are without a doubt the five and a half most wonderful wild animals I've ever met in my life. So let's raise our boxes - to our survival.

  5. Cheers dudes. You were each a massive inspiration when it came to putting this together.

Since making the video I keep seeing Squirrels.

    Nuts!

  6. You have done a very nice job with this.

By the way, squirrels are what are show the past being altered in Hot Tub Time Machine. I have found them to be rather amusing creatures.

  7. Squirrels (like the one in Hot Tub Time Machine) and Foxes (like the one in Back to the Future) seem to be natural Time Travellers.

In Charlie & the Chocolate Factory I always found it interesting that actor James Fox was dragged into a Black Hole by a bunch of Squirrels.
